The Post That's Back To The Future 4

Haven't been blogging much in the last couple of weeks. Either busy, or had the material but couldn't put it down on the keyboard.

Wanted to talk about carbon emissions and how it would severely effect the automotive industry, especially for performance cars like Bentley, Porsche and Ferrari, when the European Union's 130g CO2/km limit comes into play in 2010. Then started ranting about Fiat and stuff and lost interest.

This was followed by an idea about writing a post about Saturday's EP... Sorry, BPL results. But remembered I didn't work for ESPNSoccernet or Football365 and gave up. So, you get a score round-up instead:
- Derby County was handed out a 6-0 drubbing against Aston Villa at home in the inappropriately named Pride Park .
- Newcastle and Portsmouth played out a bore 0-0 draw.
- Fulham beat Reading 2-0 to record their first away win in 37 matches at the Madjeski.
- On-form Sunderland lost to Manchester City 2-1 at the Stadium of Light.
- Spurs drew 1-1 with Middlesbrough at home in Three Point.. S.orry, White Hart Lane.
- Bolton beat West Ham 1-0 and gains a vital 3 points to put pressure on....
- ... Birmingham, who fought out a 1-1 draw with Everton at St Mary's.

The relegation battle is hotting up, with Fulham and Bolton recording wins to ease pressure on their managers. With Birmingham only managing a draw against the Toffees, they lie in 17th (the last safety-zone) only 2 points ahead of Bolton and 4 points ahead of Fulham.
Later tonight (Malaysian time), Manchester United will take on Arsenal at Old Trafford in a crucial 1st vs 3rd tie. I, being a Chelsea fan, am hoping for a high scoring draw for entertainment, and so that Chelsea can close the gap between 1st and 2nd. We play Wigan on Tuesday morning, Malaysian time, at Stamford Bridge where we HAVEN'T LOST for FOUR YEARS.
